About Department of English:

The Department of English was established in June 2013 along with the inception of the college. Presently the Department of English has special subjects at the UG level. The department contributed a great deal to the academic development of the students in the tribal area. The department is also trying to create awareness and interest among the students regarding English and its related program and recent trends, and activities on Domestic and global levels.

We aim to graduate students who have:

• The reading skills to examine literature from multiple eras, cultures and genres with critical understanding.
• The ability to express themselves clearly and comprehensively, orally and in writing.
• Research skills which enable them to expand, from a variety of perspectives their own readings of literature and understanding language.
• To make students with responsibilities towards society and achieve relevance of their studies for the betterment of mankind.
